A warming TIKKA MASALA - gluten, dairy and sugar free

En värmande Tikka Masala - gluten- mjölk- och sockerfri

Here comes a warming stew that fits perfectly this fall. A completely gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free Tikka Masala made with coconut milk, cauliflower lots of spices and black rice. A foundational meal that contains fat that is crucial for our hormones and menstrual cycle, protein that helps build everything in our body and complex carbohydrates that contain fiber and at the same time keep blood sugar stable.

Our magic pot

Recipe for about 4 portions:
Black rice / optional rice
500 g chicken
1/2 head of cauliflower
1 bell pepper
1 golden onion
1 clove of garlic
2 cm ginger
400 g coconut milk
1 packet of crushed tomatoes
1 chicken broth / country broth

Tikka masala spice mix:
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp cumin
2 tsp turmeric
2 tsp dried coriander
2 tsp paprika powder
1/2 teaspoon cardamom
1/2 tsp cinnamon
S & P to taste

Do this:
Cook the rice according to instructions. Slice up the chicken, vegetables and onion. Then fry the chicken until it has some surface and add onion, garlic, ginger, paprika and cauliflower. Stir and after a few minutes add crushed tomatoes, coconut milk, broth and the tikka masala spices. Leave this to simmer for about 20 minutes until the chicken is done. Serve together with the rice and enjoy a wonderful meal filled with love for both body and soul.
