Here comes the best recipe for liquorice school without white sugar, gluten and milk. They take about five minutes to make (and you only need a stand mixer) while they melt in your mouth. They are a 10-pointer as a Christmas treat or for a Saturday treat.
Ingredients licorice school:
12 fresh pitted dates
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 tsp licorice powder (can be omitted if you don't like it, e.g. carob for caramel/vanilla powder for vanilla/saffron for saffron flavor or gingerbread spice)
0.5 tsp flake salt
+ stirred in 1 dl of chopped cashews when it was ready for crispiness

Do this:
Core the dates and mix all the ingredients together. Place the batter on a piece of baking paper and press out, alternatively roll out with a piece of baking paper between the caramel and the rolling pin. Place in the freezer and leave for at least two hours. Cut up into caramel pieces, leave them as they are or wrap in baking paper like a caramel. Store in the freezer. Eat and enjoy!
