Hormone-friendly CHOCOLATE PANCAKES with Chicca Roast

These chocolate pancakes are especially good to eat during phase 3 of the menstrual cycle when we often feel a craving for chocolate. The chocolate pancakes contain complete protein from eggs that help keep blood sugar at a stable level, which can contribute to reduced PMS symptoms.

Chocolate pancakes with little impact on blood sugar

For extra fiber and sweetness, we have added Chicca Roast, which mostly contains fiber and therefore does not have such an impact on blood sugar. We have also added Womensync Collagen, which contains important amino acids for the gut. If you prefer a little more sweetness, you can top the chocolate pancakes with more banana and/or drizzle with honey. It also goes perfectly with berries.

The recipe is for 1-2 servings.

Ingredients chocolate pancakes:

1 egg
1/2 the banana
1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1 tablespoon of cocoa
2 tbsp Chicca Roast
1 tbsp Womensync Collagen
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 cream vanilla powder
Butter for frying

Ingredients chocolate sauce:

2 tbsp melted coconut oil
1 tbsp Womensync
The collagen
2 tablespoons of cocoa
1 teaspoon honey

Do this:

Mix all the ingredients for the chocolate pancakes in a bowl and mix together. Fry small plates in butter on medium heat until they get a little colour. Melt the coconut oil in the microwave or in a water bath until it becomes runny (but not hot) and mix with the rest of the ingredients for the chocolate sauce.

Place the chocolate pancakes on a plate and drizzle the chocolate sauce over them. Top with banana, berries, or anything else you like.
