If, like us, you love the taste of a cup of chicca roast, you'll love these bars. Two things that are now always in our pantries are chicca roast and cocoa. To our delight, we have discovered that the flavor combination of these two is beyond this earth. Imagine a mixture of chocolate brownies, love treats and caramel cake. Nowadays there are also chicca caramel bars always in our fridge.
Bottom ingredients:
Walnuts 5 dl
8 dates
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 tbsp cocoa
1 tbsp water
A little salt
Upper layer:
1.5 dl coconut milk (thick part)
4 tbsp cashew butter
4 tbsp chicha
1 tablespoon honey
Salt
Do this:
Blend all ingredients to the bottom in a food processor. Spread the batter evenly on a square form lined with baking paper.
Continue with the top layer by mixing in coconut milk and cashew butter in a bowl. Add the chicca powder and stir. Finally, add honey and salt.
Spread the top layer on the sheet and place in the freezer for about 30 minutes. Then it is ready to be cut into pieces and eaten! Protected in the refrigerator.
